In 2009, Aso I. Hammed Legal and Business Consulting firm was founded as a full service law firm that offers a broad range of Legal and Business services to individuals, local and International businesses, and multi-national corporations. We offer a one-on-one consulting experience.
Functioning within the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) Compliance Standards, our firm represents local and international clients in the Kurdistan Region, Baghdad and Basrah. Managing Director - Attorney at Law
Mr. Hammed is a dynamic rising star in the Kurdistan legal community and has been a member of the Kurdistan Bar Association since 2009. His firm focuses on civil, corporate and contractual cases throughout the Kurdistan Region. He currently has expanded his services to Baghdad and Basrah, advising local and international companies achieving a great track record.
Mr. Hammed has represented International oil companies in successfully registering their entities, resolving their property, contractual disputes, immigration requirements and other matters in cutting-edge cases. He has also successfully registered and licensed pharmaceuticals and medical equipment for health services companies.
Mr. Hammed represent major international companies in the oil & gas, construction, power & energy, investment, health care, and general business industries. Services include entity registration, all immigration matters, local labor employment contract review and preparation, licensing and court representation. He has also recently spent some time in Turkey, Beirut, Jordan, UAE and the United States for international client matters.
Mr. Hammed is one of the few Kurdish attorneys who learned to observe the professional and work-ethical demands of international companies when it comes to retaining local counsel. He has been able to meet these expectations by learning from international attorneys who have collaborated and mentored him in mutual matters for international clients. Mr. Hammed is fluent in Kurdish and Arabic, and has proficient skills in English. He earned his law degree from the University of Salahaddin, Erbil, Iraq in 2008.
